The Rachel Sin Spring/Summer 2013 collection recently showed
at World MasterCard Toronto Fashion Week and THE BRUNETTES were there to take in the
runway of effortlessly elegant and wearable pieces presented by the designer,
which even drew in a crowd of onlookers from outside the fashion week tents.
Soft hues and fabrics were shown in contrast with sharp
tailoring, avant-garde cuts, zipper details, and dynamic, directional lines.
All of the latter elements may have been incorporated into the designer’s
aesthetic based on techniques she acquired in her previous occupation … as a skilled
architect.
